Birthday Books

If you are looking for a special way to celebrate your child's birthday, you can purchase a book and donate it to the library.  The book can be purchased from a local book store or you can have me order it for you.  I will then insert a special Book Plate commemorating your child's special day.

The first graders enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday month, March.  We read a number of his books, including Horton Hears a Who.  We then drew Horton as our drawing lesson for March.

During the month of March the second graaders read several stories about kites and then completed a cut and paste of a kite.

The Blurbirds and the Kindergartners also enjoyed listening to a number of Dr. Seuss favorites and then created these wonderful Cat in The Hat drawings during a library time drawing lesson.

Mrs. Tansey is reading a Holiday book to The Kindergartners.  They visit the library weekly.
