Erin Kucera

My name is Erin Kucera. I am the physical education teacher and athletic director at KCDS. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. I am currently pursuing my P.E. master's degree from Western Michigan University. I enjoy teaching physical education because it allows me to show children that being active and healthy can be fun. My goal for children at KCDS is to find interest in an activity that keeps them active throughout their entire life. When I am away from school I like to spend time with my husband and two children. I also like to run, rollerblade, ride my bike, spend time at the lake, and visit my friends and family. I have run the Chicago Marathon and the Grand Rapids Marathon, and I am looking forward to running another marathon soon.
