Mrs. Grubaugh's Classroom Page

The chickadee class has been busy this spring learning about different habitats. During the months of March and April we explored the ocean. We discovered many different plants and animals that make the ocean their home. The children enjoyed the hands on work making fish and sea creatures for the wall mural and the giant orca which swam over our heads.

We are currently learning about the layers of the rain forest and the animals and plants that live from the forest floor to the emergent layer.

We also enjoyed celebrating Kid's Day with pinatas,games,treats and a picnic.
