Sports

Kalamazoo Country Day athletic teams compete in the Small Schools' League. KCDS sponsors teams in girls' basketball, boys' basketball, girls' volleyball, coed cross country, and track. Games or meets take place after school, and tournaments in boys' basketball and girls' volleyball are on a Saturday at the conclusion of the regular season. KCDS sports are open to all middle school students. Athletes must maintain good grades and all homework has to be up to date to be eligible to compete. Many students go on to play high school sports.
