Lower School Program

The Lower School faculty is dedicated to providing all children with a balanced, content-rich, comprehensive and successful school experience.  The Lower School promotes a warm and trusting atmosphere that fosters respect, responsibility, integrity and empathy.  Each student follows a sequential curriculum in seven core areas: Language Arts, mathmatics and science, social studies, Spanish, Fine Arts, physical education and technology.  Opportunities for school and community service are offered throughout the year.  Children build their organizational and study skills and develop research skills necessary to prepare written and oral reports.  There is a balanced of partner, small group and whole group experiences.  Qualified students are provided auxiliary support through the Tutorial Program.
