When? Where? How much?

Friday, April 27, 2012 • 7pm
Kalamazoo Country Club
$65 per person

How does the gambling work?

We will be gambling vegas-style, playing Blackjack, Craps & Roulette. Chips can be purchased at check-in and will be available from "Chippers" located on the casino floor. All chips purchased will have a $5 value. Novice gamblers need not worry. The dealers will help coach you through the  nuances of the various games, after all, it's all for fun, and our kids.

Games will pay standard odds. Chips can be cashed in at the Chip-In-For Our Classrooms table, where your winnings will help fund items our teachers have selected to enhance their classrooms. Chips may not be exchanged for cash payouts.

How do I pay for items on the night of the event?

Gambling Chips, Wine Pulls, High-Roller Raffle Tickets and Live & Silent Auction Items can be paid for by cash, check or credit card. The Thrifty 50 Raffle is Cash Only. The bar will accept cash, credit cards and reciprocal club agreements.

What's the dress code?

The evening is by no means a formal affair, but it is a great night out to rock your fancy 'going out' clothes. Maybe something where an iron is involved?

I can't attend, but would still like to be a part of the event. What are my options?

There are several. We are accepting advance bids for our Live & Experience Auction Items HERE, or you can Chip-In-For-Our Classrooms directly HERE. Wine Pull & High Roller Raffle Tickets can be pre-purchased HERE.

Can I still donate items to the Auction?

Absolutely! If you have a great experience to offer, or something truly unique, we'd love to hear about it. However, please note that this year we’ve done away with all the goods and gear that filled our auction boards of the past to focus on truly exceptional (& otherwise unattainable) experiences.

Why haven't I been asked to donate to the Silent Auction?

We've changed things up a bit from past years. The Silent Auction portion of the evening has been greatly reduced so we don't need all of the generous donations we've asked for in the past. And really, you don't need another croquet set.
