Fourth Grade

This year in math the fourth graders will be working on long division, multiplication, fractions and decimals. In science they will be learning about dinosaurs, fossils, weather and the skeletal system. They will also be reading The Bridge to Terabithia, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Hatchet, My Side of the Mountain, and Caddie Woodlawn. They will be taking a field trip to the Mountain Home Cemetery. The fourth grade class enjoys operating the Spirit Store, making the Jamestown fort, the cemetery field trip, collecting daily weather data and sleeping over at the Binder Park Zoo.

Sheri Lynne Aman

A Liberty University graduate, Mrs. Aman taught in Virginia for 10 years before returning to Michigan. She began teaching at KCDS in 1996 and is the fourth grade teacher. In 1999, Mrs. Aman received an Excellence in Education grant, traveling to Williamsburg and Jamestown, Va.
