Chickadees
The Chickadees are our youngest preschool group. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where our little ones can learn and grow. The Chickadees start their morning with circle time. This includes calendar activities, counting activities, songs and rhymes, and literacy activities.
Jeannie Grubaugh
A Hardin-Simmons University (Abilene, Texas) graduate, Mrs. Grubaugh earned her degree in elementary education. She went on to do post-graduate work at Avila University in Kansas City. Mrs. Grubaugh and her husband, Dave, are the parents of two grown, married sons. They also have three grandchildren.
Joanne Stewart
A 1978 Michigan State University graduate, Mrs. Stewart believes a classroom should be positive, creative and challenging. When she is not teaching at KCDS, Mrs. Stewart likes to spend time with her husband and three girls. She also enjoys the beach, running and knitting.
