Star Award

Caring and respect for one another are essential components of the philosophy of Kalamazoo Country Day School. Students are recognized at Monday and Friday assemblies for acts of random kindness to one another, as well as to adults. The student who consistently displays a true sense of caring for his/her fellow students as well as his/her community is presented with the Star Award at the annual Honors Assembly in May. This student's name is engraved on a plaque that hangs in the KCDS Star Hallway.
